Interaction Welcome

**Edited Dec 27, 2014: I've decided to just be myself and not hide behind a fictional character. I'm taking my name back. She'll come back under another name, I'm sure, because her story is rather interesting.**

I may be a figment of My Author's imagination, but I still get a thrill when someone talks to me, or talks about me, or generally pays attention to me. I grin when someone "likes" a comment I made in one of the BDSM groups I joined and can feel myself expand as a person when I end up having a conversation with a random stranger (who might also be a figment of someone's imagination or, at least, a mask or facade).

Today marks the first time another Facebook user has joined the banter between Mr Myrrh and myself on Facebook, on one of my posts. I can't even tell you how much that means to me. My face lit up! It was a good comment, too, adding humor and frisson. And it gave Mr Myrrh a devilish idea, which is even better! We had hoped that sharing ourselves on Facebook would lead to an interactivity that could spill over into the stories I write and the life that I lead.

You know those "choose your own adventure" stories you might have read as a child? Wouldn't it be fun to do something similar with characters you can talk to, who talk back? Who might listen when you say, "No! Don't go through that door into a dark room, on a stormy night, in just your nightie!"

Or, maybe you like to hang out in chat rooms, and do a little role play. Wouldn't it be fun to interact with a character in a similar way, directing things as you might a play or movie?

I think it would be fun -- that's why I write! And it's why I'm inviting you to interact with me and Mr Myrrh and have a hand in what is written, whether on Facebook, here, or in the books I'm writing. Mr Myrrh thought it would be a good idea, and I do, too.

Warmly,
Ms Myrrh
